Abstract

This article tries to identify how Email Marketing can be used as a communication strategy in the Aguadulce University Extension, which could keep current students, graduates, teachers and administrators informed of all the information of interest concerning the educational institution. The correct and appropriate use of email marketing is very important for any organization to attract as many potential customers as possible, since a university can provide students with information through email in a very attractive way since it will attract attention of the person receiving it. Although it is true from the beginning, email marketing was used as a way of exchanging notes with family or friends, the truth is that today it has become a useful tool to send notifications of matters that people can reach. interest. For the collection of the results, a descriptive methodology was used with a non-experimental approach, a questionnaire was applied using the simple random sampling method of 198 students, 22 teachers, 30 graduates and 10 administrators, which gives a total of 260 people surveyed. . The results showed that a high percentage considers that it would be good to implement the use of Email Marketing in the University Extension of Aguadulce.
