Abstract

Reengineering is the redesign of processes in a business that seeks to improve either quality, time or cost reduction. Now in times of the COVID-19 pandemic there are a series of factors such as biosecurity measures, digitization, communications and leadership that have taken force to mitigate the spread of the virus and in turn be useful for companies to continue your operations. The objective of this essay is to make known which are those measures that we must consider when structuring a process redesign such as teleworking, digital platforms, reduction of capacity in workspaces, information, among others, since the Reengineering as we knew it before the pandemic does not contemplate this crisis called COVID-19, which has brought a disruption in organizations and therefore businesses must achieve that resilience in order to survive throughout this global crisis. Human talent plays a very important role in these changes since it is of the utmost importance that the implemented changes are communicated to them, they are trained and, above all, good communication is achieved so that the reengineering has the expected success, thus achieving an opportunity to create personal connections and build channels to create a high level of alignment with common purpose and meaning between workers and the organization.
