Abstract

At present, the Panamanian population is unaware of the energy saving opportunities and measures that they can implement in order to achieve efficient use of energy resources, 70% do not know how to calculate their consumption, to a lesser extent but the lack of knowledge is latent of the economic benefits and the impact that excessive consumption may have on the environment until resources are depleted, therefore we propose the Deming cycle as a method of continuous improvement that is easy to understand so that the population can carry out a self-evaluation, highlighting the important points to be addressed and the areas in which we must make changes to achieve savings in energy consumption, thus achieving the desired positive effect by equipping the population with an efficient method of maintaining adequate consumption levels, proposing at each stage of the cycle of Deming types and ways to save energy, with this information it will be possible to know the economic viability-ambiental of promoting actions in the efficient use of energy at the national level. Determine energy saving opportunities and propose actions that, in their measure, have an impact on people and they can implement efficient use of energy resources.
