Abstract

Firstly, aluminum ion batteries are emerging as a promising alternative to traditional lithium-ion batteries in the field of mobility and fuel economy. The use of aluminum in the anode and aluminum salts in the electrolyte gives these batteries significant advantages in terms of sustainability and cost. An effective strategy to increase the energy efficiency of electric vehicles, reduce costs and promote sustainability is the use of aluminum ion batteries; This can have a positive effect on fuel savings and reducing dependence on fossil energy sources. The general objective of this research is to be able to demonstrate that aluminum batteries can be viable and have a relevant impact to help the environment, the lowest mineral consumption, the lowest production cost and a sustainable source for the electric cars that each More and more they are what we can observe in manufacturing and uses. The methodology carried out is divided into the theoretical part and the experimental part, in the theoretical part we can mention bibliographic reviews on the subject and moderate simulations, and in the experimental part we have the technical reports and software for the simulations. From the results shown we can highlight many points in favor since in the manufacturing cost it is observed that there is a decrease of 15-20% at the time of making them, for the environmental part we have to reduce CO2 by 45% emitted in the vehicles and finally in the operation part there is a 30% reduction in the frequency of charging in electric vehicles, all thanks to the tests carried out with aluminum batteries. In conclusion, we can say that aluminum batteries are the future to replace lithium batteries and an innovation for industries to care for the environment and save fuel.
